I was not aware of an offline command line option, in fact I have just
checked the latest docco
http://gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/gradle_command_line.html and
there is no mention of it. What is the use case for it?

Also I have not had to run such a configuration for 6 months
(Milestone 3) as I have changed contracts and had to use Maven again
:-(

In light of the fact that I would seem to be the only one to have been
running such a setup, I would have to revisit my previous requirements
to see if they are still valid.

The only extra benefit of a local Artifactory is the search facilities
whilst I do not have on-line access to the company Artifactory.
