Looks good to me, we can later replace the keyvalue pair with Suraj's
implementation. Or replace Suraj's implementation with Apurv's ;)
However, if we have just two states (LEFT/RIGHT) wouldn't it be better to just
use a boolean or byte flag?
But for examples this is not really a big deal, readability > performance.
