I believe that good results in SPEC, which is industry standard as you said, will give us more users from the industry where SPEC is a standard. And this is good for Harmony: more users, more testers, more contributors.
And I agree with Mikhail nobody asks EVERY Harmony contributor to test ALL the fixes on ALL platforms and run EVERY benchmark before each patch. Other community members will help! SY, Alexey
