Hi devs, Wanted to send a quick note, since some of you have noticed our precommit failing with mysterious docker errors.
Our Peter has diagnosed this as Oracle changing their download URL when releasing the latest update of Java 8. There's a few different proposed solutions here, the final fix will be tracked in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-19042 We understand that this is frustrating for folks trying to submit patches currently, and appreciate your patience while waiting for a solution.
