Data in column families are stored in separate files. When a read comes in to a
table with multiple column families, by default it will fetch data from all
column families unless the specific column/family was requested. These reads
are more expensive, especially in multigets.
As an operator, it's hard to know when these are coming in. It would be useful
to have a metric.
