Hi Sebastian,
Just noticed that the HEADER files on the dist site still mention
Jakarta in headings and links.
BTW, such files are probably not in SVN.
No, they're not. You think we should put them there, or
just rely on the archive where they will be synced?
I don't think they are synched to the archive; anyway it only has
the
latest version so if it gets mangled there's no recovery.
They are synced, they're just not used when the archives
are accessed via the HTTP server.
The problem is that archive.a.o has a global HEADER.html - if we want
to have our own headers we need to add a .htaccess-archive re-
defining it, e.g.
HeaderName HEADER.html
ReadmeName FOOTER.html
But we'd be the first project doing that AFAIK... :-)
Probably would be good to put them in SVN at some point (plus any
.htaccess files), however they would need to be in a separate tree,
otherwise they could mess up other site updates.
We could put them in a separate subtree of the "project" directory.
Sounds good.
Absolutely +1 - any takers?
Cheers,
Erik
