Folks, I would like to move HttpBench code from contrib package to a separate project module with a POM descriptor. The module will not become a part of official HttpCore release package (will not be referenced by the HttpCore POM), at least for now. The main motivation for the move is to be able to re-use the code in other modules, such as a more complex performance benchmark.
Please let me know if you have any objections. I am also aware of at least one project that depend on HttpBenchmark code by using svn:external. The reference will have to be updated once the move is completed. I apologize for the inconvenience.
