Oleg asked me to fold my https://github.com/jillesvangurp/httpclient-future
into httpclient. This project adds the ability to execute requests and get back
a Future instead of a response.
I've forked and modified this code to prepare it for integration here:

I've signed and filed the ICLA and Oleg has reviewed the code and it should be
ready for integration.
I'll attach the diff to this issue as well.
