Oleg Kalnichevski commented on HTTPCLIENT-1487:

@Chris
Admittedly I am getting old and grumpy and no longer have any tolerance to
unspecific and vague bugs raised with blocker priority. You are welcome to
raise a change request but please give a little more details what specifically
you would like us to change or what specifically makes custom HttpCacheStorage
implementations difficult or error-prone.
@Jon
I am not entirely sure it is the same issue.

> Unless I'm mistaken, the current implementation doesn't maintain the cache
> between executions of the java process. In addition, it appears the current
> api for HttpCacheStorage makes it difficult / error prone to do this myself,
> since my implementation would have to somehow produce an HttpCacheEntry. Any
> suggestions?
