i find this comments really strange, so you had some bugs because of the
OSGi meta data not fully ok?
then i say, now you have a bug, because the current meta data configuration
is really not ok. its fully lacking at all.

So people cant use it at all currently in an osgi way, if they do (like many
people like todo including me) and i find a bug in the OSGi manifest (because i
am a user using it) i will file a case with a patch this needs to be changed..

The thing is (and i am personally fine with that) you could also generate it
way more relaxed (so in the import and export packages you don't really specify
version at all or only start version but not a version range that stops
somewhere (that is now and then annoying...) And i think that is really the
only more dynamic part that changes now and then when you introduce a new
public package or your dependencies really change. The rest are quite static..

The thing is by not providing it at the core you just force that forks are
created, now it is just in a P2 repo (Eclipse/Orbit) that managed that, but i
guess in the end you get in mvn central also suddenly 2 releases of the same
thing..
That is just confusing for people.
