I have no further plans at the moment, but I'm also behind on releasing the changes. I've had to roll back the 5.4 client twice now, mostly for spurious reasons (except for the validateAfterInactivity bug, which was rough). I'd like to get client 5.4.4 and then 5.5 released and listen for further bug reports. I'll try to get this process going, but I'd say you don't have to wait on it. There will still be time to find and fix issues in the alpha and beta releases.
