Folks Does anyone still use HC Fluent (HttpClient Fluent Facade) at all? I can hardly see any reason to do so. The Fluent facade served a purpose 15 years ago but now looks completely obsolete.
I propose that further development of the module be discontinued in favor of the Jakarta REST client module. This is to be announced in the HttpClient 5.7 release notes, starting with ALPHA1. If there are people interested in further development of the module they can get in touch with us and we can discuss options. If no one does, that would be a solid confirmation of the module no longer being relevant.
