The classic TLS upgrade in `AbstractClientTlsStrategy.executeHandshake` (and the deprecated `SSLConnectionSocketFactory`) used the `TlsConfig` attachment only for the handshake timeout, so a classic client set up with `setDefaultTlsConfig` for TLSv1.3 only or a restricted cipher list still negotiated TLSv1.2 with a default suite against a TLSv1.2-only server that the async client refuses with `protocol_version`; apply the `TlsConfig` protocols and cipher suites first, then the strategy settings, then the JVM defaults minus weak entries, the same precedence the async path uses. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
