Thanks Carl for the patch. I'm able to compile without any OOM problems now.
One question though, what's the significance of the new directory deps? It
seems difficult to make sure the content in deps directory is correct.
I'm trying to test the patch by the way Alejandro described above. Will update
results soon.
Minor comment in the patch: ql/build.xml, use velocity version property for
velocity jar.
