I might remove my vote. Note that even though the current majority of votes is "for" rather than "against", it hasn't happened because we've been generally uneasy with it (and/or just didn't get around to it, but mostly the former IMO). Thread safety of external libraries is probably one of the reasons for that uneasiness. --Cliff
