I would love to see https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=54852 bug fixed. The reason why that problem happens is known, there are hacky solutions and the only thing needed now is someone with internals knowledge to implement clean and nice fix (like sending signals only to living processes based on scoreboard instead of blindly sending to every process until current max_daemons_limit). -- Arkadiusz Miśkiewicz, arekm / maven.pl
