The deprecated frameworks will be removed from the primary download, archived in the source control system ("moved"), and the documentation archived. The software will be made available in a final release form that will be clearly separated from the main General Availability downloads and marked explicitly as "Deprecated". These frameworks will be supported on an ad hoc basis and any changes will be at the sole discretion of the development team, and likely need to be voted on for release separately from the mapper frameworks. Anyone wishing to continue development of the DAO or DataAccess frameworks are welcome to do so within compliance of the licensing terms of the Apache Software License 2.0.
