Sorry to be the naysayer here. But, why are we spending time on a logo? Is the one we have not enough brand recognition? Do we really need a cute little bird to give our product that extra WOW? Personally, I don't think so. The iBATIS logo as it stands is great. If we really want to make a visual impact towards professionalism, I think we'd do well to identify who we are trying to market to and gear the site to address those audiences. Seems to me that we discuss the site design every 6 months or so. I would just caution that we avoid making the site an expression of our current favorite design trend and more about what the market would find useful and attractive. If we want to change the site again, then lets make it sparkle _for the users_ and then be satisfied with it for a long while.
Should we launch a discussion on who the site for? Developers, CTOs, Managers, etc? How do we feel these different groups would perceive iBATIS if they visited for the first time? Brandon On 3/5/07, Woody, Globo.com <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, I liked. But I think it is too heavy, too many elements ... What about the same image with less lines (like a draft)?
