Thanks for continuing to help me with this puzzling issue.
I have tried logging in through the JSPWiki login with no difference.
I did not empty the Tomcat working directory before doing the cache-related
changes on my first go-around, but I repeated those tests again and did empty
the Tomcat working directory this time, without any success.
I have made some minor tweaks to a few of the JSPWiki templates/default jsp
files. Removed some items from the header and footer, changed the preferences
username input to a text field (users change name through another container
app) and removed the greetings message in the userbox. There were no changes
made to any of the classes. But all of those changes exist in the non-container
version that works, and as a sanity check, I tried restoring all of those to
the original versions in the container version without any success so I sort of
ruled that out. However, when I ran those tests, I did not clean the Tomcat
working directory between runs, so I might have to try that again just to be
sure.
I'll give the 2.10.2 snaphot a try, but it will probably take me a couple of
days to get that accomplished. I'll get back to you after testing that.
