Thanks for the KIP. I am not sure how useful the timestamp and taskId information will be in practice, but I don't have any concern with regard to overhead/performance. Hence, as you think it might be useful, I trust your judgement.
For the timestamp though, I would like to emphasize that I personally think, that the idea (that was rejected) to track the "latest timestamp" when a topic was used might be quite useful information.
