Re: ApiVersion - ok, but I just thought it would be better to avoid having
redundant code between server and client.
We can hold off commits for now - but just a heads up, I'm planning to commit
KAFKA-1546. I just checked and there are no conflicts with Gwen's patch. I'll
do the commit in another hour or so, unless there are objections.
