1. Your KIP document <https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-349%3A+Priorities+for+Source+Topics> lacks hyperlink to the discussion thread. And I couldn`t find the discussion thread from the mailing archive.[^1] Have you ever opened the discussion thread and carried on a discussion? The vote should be initiated only after the discussion is ended. 2. The committers look busy to finalize ver 2.1.0. So It would be much better to start the discussion thread after the 2.1.0 is released.
