Please note the current work provides such abstraction layer (through the ClusterManager) and Hazelcast only provides the implementation. So we are not "bound" to Hazelcast. If we decide to switch to an other cluster/grid implementation that provides similar functionality *(discovery mechanism, grid etc)*, we could just do it.
