Hi all,
for your information, as we include more than just bug fixes on master,
I will create karaf-3.0.x branch based on the latest bug fix commit from
master and merge other bug fixes (in the middle of new features).
It means that we will have:
- master (current version 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT corresponding version in Jira
is 3.1.0)
- karaf-3.0.x (current version 3.0.1-SNAPSHOT corresponding version in
Jira is 3.0.1)
- karaf-2.x (current version 2.4.0-SNAPSHOT corresponding version in
Jira is 2.4.0)
- karaf-2.3.x (current version 2.3.5-SNAPSHOT corresponding version in
Jira is 2.3.5)
For reminder, next release schedule:
- 3.0.1 (on branch karaf-3.0.x): March, 7
- 2.4.0 (on branch karaf-2.x): March, 14
No plan for 2.3.5 for now.
No objection ?
Regards
JB

Hi all,
Now that we released Karaf 2.3.4, I would like to propose a schedule for
the next expected releases:
- Karaf 3.0.1 is a bug fix release on top of 3.0.0. We have one
"blocker" issue for this release (about the bundle cache corruption with
Felix Framework 4.2.0), I started to work on it, I will resume tonight.
I plan to push some changes from my local branches, especially a lot of
improvements on the maven-karaf-plugin, including new goals.
I propose to aim 3.0.1 for the first week on March.
- Karaf 2.4.0 is an upgrade release on top of 2.3.x. It doesn't change
some much in the Karaf core, but upgrade a lot of dependencies. I plan
to review the Jira for this release tomorrow.
I propose to release a first 2.4.0 (on the 2.x branch) just after 3.0.1
(the second week of March).
WDYT ?
Regards
JB
