Hi all,

Just an update about the release schedule.

- I postpone the 3.0.1 release for one additional week. I didn't yet finished all fixed on my local branch about the karaf-maven-plugin (so not yet merged). I'm adding the different itests to cover the different use cases. More over, Christian and I will also provide update on the Hibernate features. If possible, I will try to release and include Pax Web 3.0.7 and Pax CDI 0.7.0 containing fixes. So, I propose March, 18 for 3.0.1 (it gives us two full weeks and week ends).
- We keep the schedule of 2.4.0 one week after 3.0.1, so March, 25.

JB

Hi all,

Now that we released Karaf 2.3.4, I would like to propose a schedule for
the next expected releases:

- Karaf 3.0.1 is a bug fix release on top of 3.0.0. We have one
"blocker" issue for this release (about the bundle cache corruption with
Felix Framework 4.2.0), I started to work on it, I will resume tonight.
I plan to push some changes from my local branches, especially a lot of
improvements on the maven-karaf-plugin, including new goals.
I propose to aim 3.0.1 for the first week on March.
- Karaf 2.4.0 is an upgrade release on top of 2.3.x. It doesn't change
some much in the Karaf core, but upgrade a lot of dependencies. I plan
to review the Jira for this release tomorrow.
I propose to release a first 2.4.0 (on the 2.x branch) just after 3.0.1
(the second week of March).

WDYT ?

Regards
JB
