Do you really mean this version? If so, its hopelessly old, as the new
switches were only added at the end of last year. 0.8rc5 should do it
though.
This obviously was a problem with Ubuntu, which regarded the installation of 0.8rc5 as a DOWNGRADE (!). I filed a bug for that.
Now this works, but the trouble goes on. Now I have 36 "toplevel" pot-files. But Rosetta has 11 files, named ooo-writer, ooo-math, ooo-base and so on. See this page for a complete list: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/breezy/+source/openoffice.org2/+translations
These templates obviously do not correspond to the files created with the translation-toolkit. This doesn't seem to be your problem, but that of Rosetta. I am afraid I will end up using the "onefile" option and merging all the translation into that monster file.
I'd just like to point out that Rosetta are the people who want this
feature, so they should really be the ones to implement it / fix it. I
would probably be more keen to help out if Rosetta were open source :-)
But for your sake I'll see if I can give it a go soon.
I totally agree to that.
Thanks for your help,
Erdal
