Hi Ivo
Examples of help strings appearing in English in both OOo-Dev_OOO330m7 and ooo330l10n2:

FILE: helpcontent2-ca\shared\01.po (line 15592):
#: 01110100.xhp#par_id3166410.34.help.text
msgid ""
"To change the default template path, choose <emph><switchinline "
"select=\"sys\"><caseinline select=\"MAC\">%PRODUCTNAME - "
"Preferences</caseinline><defaultinline>Tools - "
"Options</defaultinline></switchinline> - <link "
"href=\"text/shared/optionen/01010300.xhp\" name=\"$[officename] - "
"Paths\">$[officename] - Paths</link></emph>."

FILE: helpcontent2-ca\shared\02.po (line 7462):
#: 09050000.xhp#par_id3159224.2.help.text
msgid ""
"<ahelp visibility=\"visible\" hid=\"HID_OFA_HYPERLINK_SEARCH\">Click and choose "
"one of the Internet search engines from the submenu. The search term is "
"entered in the <emph>URL Name</emph> box.</ahelp> The list of search engines "
"in the <emph>Find</emph> submenu is defined in <emph><switchinline "
"select=\"sys\"><caseinline select=\"MAC\">%PRODUCTNAME - "
"Preferences</caseinline><defaultinline>Tools - "
"Options</defaultinline></switchinline> - <link "
"href=\"text/shared/optionen/01020200.xhp\" name=\"Internet - Search\">Internet - "
"Search</link></emph>."

FILE: helpcontent2-ca\swriter\02.po (line 634):
#: 18030700.xhp#par_id3152896.2.help.text
msgid ""
"<ahelp hid=\".uno:InsertAuthorField\">Inserts the name of the person who "
"created the document here as a field.</ahelp> The field applies the entry "
"made under <emph><switchinline select=\"sys\"><caseinline select=\"MAC\">%"
"PRODUCTNAME - Preferences</caseinline><defaultinline>Tools - "
"Options</defaultinline></switchinline> - <link "
"href=\"text/shared/optionen/01010100.xhp\" name=\"$[officename] - User "
"data\">$[officename] - User data</link></emph>."

I picked examples from different files, to illustrate that the problem is not located in a single file. In the Catalan Ooo help, you can locate more English strings by searching the term "options". When doing do, I realised that in newer OOo-Dev_OOO330m7 there are less results than in the previous ooo330l10n2, but still some English strings remain. As I said in my previous message all help files were 100% translated in Pootle on Aug 20th at 9:45 AM.

Hi Jordi,

as the l10n process always "recapture" all strings I don't know what went wrong here. Can you please give some examples what strings are missing (string+filename+id) so we can check here in the chain pootle->export->source where those strings were lost? Frank exported the strings on September 7th .

Cheers,
Ivo

 Hi
I just downloaded and installed the latest OOo-Dev_OOO330m7 build for Catalan and I realise that some strings in help are in English. I also installed and checked in previous ooo330l10n2 build and the same English strings appear. All help files were 100% ready on Aug 20th at 9:45 AM. I was hoping I was in time for the Aug 19th l10n deadline, but obviously the files were picked up before that time from Pootle. So, I'd kindly request that for the next CWS or DEV build the Catalan Pootle files were "retaken" so that next test build contains a 100% finished translation.

In my opinion, the l10n process should "recapture" the Pootle files for each language before generating each build, to ensure the test build contains the latest translations.
