I am. In IMO this should be in a workable state before a 1.4 alpha release.
BTW: I would spell alpha out to make it clearer, i.e. 1.4-alpha-1

IMO editor integration (BXE, Kupu), including asset handling, should be completed before any 1.4 alpha release. Is someone currently working on this ?
On another subject, I hope to finish this week the metadata handling we discussed recently, but this will be transparent to a casual user anyway.
Once editor integration is OK, I would be +1 for an 1.4 alpha, if we agree that "alpha" means that there may still be significant changes in functionality & internals between alpha and beta.
