Hi,

I will be glad to do the release manager.

Please cast your vote,

-1 because I think every committer (or maybe better PMC member) should do a release on a regular basis for the following reasons:

- share the load
- spreading the knowledge among the committers of doing releases (fallback)
- it will improve the release management re process definition, etc.
- foster the commitment of the individual as committer resp. PMC member

These are all community building reasons and I believe strongly
that Lenya needs those in order to be(come) a strong community.

I think this RM discussion shows that the Lenya community doesn't really know what it stands for and I think we have to figure that out resp. gain
common ground.

It seems to me that at the moment everyone is just happy that
Antonio is kind enough to offer himself as RM, but I think this
is completely wrong and I think Antonio shouldn't do this because
it's killing a discussion which needs to be finished.

Michi

Antonio Gallardo.
