I think this RM discussion shows that the Lenya community doesn't really
know what it stands for and I think we have to figure that out resp. gain
common ground.
The fact of the RM thread is *3* -1 votes and *no* +1 (till now). The
common opinion in this project is that we do not want to connect RM to
activity ("If committers don't want to, then I think they should
retire ...").
did we ever vote on this?! Why did people list themselves
within
http://wiki.apache.org/lenya/ProjectReleasePlan
(yourself included)?
btw, my sentence above is of general nature and the RM discussion
is just a sparkle to start such a general discussion.
Further the fact of this thread is *5* +1 votes and *1* -1 (till now)
which shows common ground that the committers want to see Antonio as RM.
you might want to suggest an ending date for this vote.

"Votes on procedural issues follow the common format of majority rule
unless otherwise stated. That is, if there are more favourable votes
than unfavourable ones, the issue is considered to have passed --
regardless of the number of votes in each category. (If the number of
votes seems too small to be representative of a community consensus, the
issue is typically not pursued...)"
