Maybe we can propose a simple grammar interface, how can we organize
such an effort?
The simplest thing come to my mind on this is, OOo should send
"sentences" or "paragraphs" instead of single words to the analyser and
return value should be a special object , containing error info,
proposals etc.
Who is currently resposible for OOo grammar project?
A grammar checker is independent from OOo. What is needed is just the
*interface* in OOo so that any grammar checker engine can be plugged in,
like a spell checker. As far as I know, no development has happened in
this direction, so any help is welcome.
