In my MacOSX DEV300_m14 build, I can spellcheck in Vietnamese, simply
by choosing Vietnamese under Tools > Options > Language Settings >
Language, then choosing the Hunspell dictionary listed under Writing
Aids. Is this not your dictionary?
I'm not sure wether the MacOsX includes any vietnamese dictionary by
default. Are you using a clean installation of the OpenOffice? or maybe
you installed previously my dictionary and the update didn't delete it.
I'm currently using the Ubuntu version english openoffice.org-code
1.2.4.0-3-ubunt6 and they don't include the Vietnamese dictionary. My
dictionary must be included trough the Dicooo using the LanguagePack
