>- see footer for list info -< A web service setup in the cfadmin is only there as a shortcut reference to any web service you want to provide on the server. Such as a google web service for example, so u can reference it by name in your cfinvoke. Nothing is required to be added in the cfadmin to run a webservice from your site. In fact it would be pointless, as remote websites must call the web service from the URL and cannot even reference the component name you create in the cfadmin.
