That is interesting, as the impression I got from the release notes was that this was now fixed. Hit the following link and then scroll to the Sandbox Security section. http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/coldfusion/mx7/releasenotes.html#generalenhancements

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick with this?

I thought they had done so by restricting the type you can call in <cfobject> and createObject() so you can limit usage to only CFC for example?

disappointed to hear MM still have not addressed the security issue with the service factory and thus are still pretending CF is not use din a shared hosting environment.

For those that went, what did you think about the whole affair?
Once again we were made to sit through things we didn't, at first anyway, care too much about. The Flex talk was nothing I
haven't heard

before but it was a nice reminder about it. Captivate was interesting, I haven't looked at RoboDemo so I don't know if Captivate is a huge improvement but I really liked

what I saw.

I think Ben is an excellent speaker. You really get the
feeling it's

him talking and not Macromedia or am I just being naive? He

talks fast
