You can only try it an see.
The connection will show up in the IIS logs and you can create a cfm page
that does something to show it was executed, so u will know if it worked or
not.

OK good thought I will wait now for my client to come back with some more information.

I can set the device to use port 80 but if is not an http post
would CF be able to accept and deal with the incoming data?
