Russ, you online? Does the CFMXhosting mail server care about this?

I'm going to be using cfmail to send an email newsletter. Does it matter
that the domain that is running the script is NOT the same domain as the
from & reply-to address configured in the cfmail tag?

I don't think cfmail cares what you use at all.

However, your mail server itself might care, depending on the mail
server setup - whether it has SPF setup, and so on.

If you want to see the headers which CF sets, get a dummy mail server
so you can mimic sending the file but actually just deliver it to a
local file that you can examine.
