Have you looked at Banshee - this is a cross platform media player
written in C# on Mono. This might provide you with core functionality
you need for your engine or at least might give you pointers to creating
a cross platform core.

In Moblin v1 we have a Flash based or Clutter based launcher. The rest
of the UI is written in GTK+, and some apps maybe using Qt. In Moblin v2
the interface will be a mixture of Clutter and GTK+, but Qt and Flash
will still be supported. So you have your pick of UI toolkits.

Do you mean run XP on the machine, then a moblin distro in Microsoft
virtual machine? I would expect performance to be very poor, and I'm not
sure what you would gain from this?

I'm not sure if we have mono in any fsets or packages for Moblin. Can
anyone correct me if I'm wrong here?

Moblin hasn't moved to Fedora, we're now using RPM as the base packaging
format. MIC should work on either Fedora or Ubuntu (it works on my
Ubuntu 8.04 system) - if you hit problems in either distro please let us
know.

If you're hitting problems please post to the list and we'll try and
help as best we can.
