Hello Dennis, I was working on packages for Ubuntu Xenial but failed with following: https://bugs.launchpad.net/opencontrail/+bug/1603881
Anyway my opinion is that packaging should be finally done in Debian way to have official packages in Debian/Ubuntu distributions. That will require some changes in current build tools and code of some components, mostly to get rid of patched third-party dependencies bundled in packages and other junk. This is currently not possible to be done without Juniper cooperation and they have no intention to make packaging better. Anyway I expect this is going to change soon as new users are comming and having the same issue - packages.
