Hi Filip, I agree that the packaging should be done according to the Debian guidelines. The support for Ubuntu is then (almost) automatic. Third-party bundling and generally not caring about packaging is a common pattern with new developments. Are the Juniper developers subscribed to this list? Is there some way you know to open up that discussion?
