If you’re interested in presenting a talk at the event co-located with Kubecon,
I think you’ll need to watch the mailing list for a little while longer because
those details haven’t been worked out yet. There is no formal talk submission
process.

If you’re interested in contributing code, we’re working on documenting the
details of how all the developer, code review and CI things will work. This
document isn’t as far along as I’d like, but you can see my initial skeleton
here: https://review.opencontrail.org/36190

orchestration . I have strong hands on in C++ and knowledge of python also. I
have been in networking domain from last 10 years. I have explored the Open
contrail in the past for some uses case on the code/architecture level.

I need guidance here how can I contribute as an individual in the "Tech track"
or any other open contrail feature development initiative.
i..e From where I can start and accelerate.

I am deeply interested in contributing at the implementation level.

Hi folks,

Thank you for attending the OpenContrail Community Summit.

In order to give folks more time for planning we have decided to hold the next
OC Community Summit @ Kubecon to simply travel arrangements for folks who want
to attend in person.
Do I need a KubeCon registration to attend in person, or it is possible to
register for OC Summit only?

Thanks,
Valentine

We will try to book venue either at the Kubecon or close by for either Dec 6 or
Dec 7. Would love to see everybody in person.
Remote connection will be provided, but logistics of remote connection will
still remain challenging.

High level agenda:

For this summit, we will have 3 tracks:

 1. Education track: this is designed to bring additional new users into
the community and will focus on overview of OpenContrail features,
functions, value and ecosystem for new users.
 2. Tech track: this track will facilitate inperson discussion for
various tech projects and if enough tech users are interested we
will provide code and design walk through of various modules
 3. Governance track: this track will focus on review and finalization
of the community governance charter and various documents.

More detailed agenda will be developed closer to the event.

Thanks

Greg
