Hi Greg,

Does one need to be an LF member to be a voting member of the TSC/ARB/whatever else committee once OpenContrail moves under the foundation umbrella?

I'm sure we've discussed this already, but I can't remember for sure :(

Thanks,
Valentine

Hi Folk,

Linux foundation is creating an umbrella organization for its networking projects.

This umbrella organization will provide a common pool of funding for all projects which join the umbrella.

Projects which expected to join or have already done so are ODL, OPNFV, ONAP. Several other projects are also in discussions.

OpenContrail governance team is evaluating Linux Foundation Networking and would like to solicit broader community feedback.

Please take a look at the agreement. There are two versions for folks who are currently not Linux Foundation Members and for those who already are.

LF-N umbrella simplifies project membership for companies who wish to participate in multiple LF-N projects. Now there is a single standardized set of dues that covers all LF-N projects.

For smaller companies who want to participate in OC only. Minimum dues would be $5k LF dues + $5K LF-N dues. So $10K per year.

Please provide your feed back to the Governance Committee by 1/24/18

Thanks

Greg
