Valentine, At the point we made a firm decision that all technical committees are merit only. Yandex cannot be a corporate member without paying both LF and LF-N dues. But you can be an individual member (this requires no dues). This allows you to participate in the project and be a member of any of the technical committees.
This leaves governance committee. We have not made a decision to make it pure merit based board. I need to take a look and see how the other LF-N projects react. If we do not raise enough revenue for the LF-N. We will not have many seats on the governance, marketing or TAC, which means limited marketing and support funds. I'm sure we've discussed this already, but I can't remember for sure :( Thanks, Valentine On 13.01.2018 1:47, Gregory Elkinbard wrote: > Hi Folk, > > Linux foundation is creating an umbrella organization for its networking > projects. > > This umbrella organization will provide a common pool of funding for all > projects which join the umbrella. > > Projects which expected to join or have already done so are ODL, OPNFV, > ONAP.
