sorry that it has fallen on you. Please understand that there is nothing
personal but community rule enforment is never easy.
As I have said, our goal, in Common, is support profiles to handle
specific options that they would require but in a long term manageable form.
It is not the first time that I start a thread against people making +2
on code that they have submitted themselves, the last time it was
against one the member of my own team.
Sorry, it my job of architect for Common to be the guardian of the long
term viability of the shared model which is so easy to break.
I know that you have been working in good spirit and collaboration and I
am sure that this was a mistake and so, please accept my apology for
putting you on the spot, but at a time where we are seeing new profiles
(TV, Mobile and Wearable) coming to Tizen3 and be based on Common, your
patch gave me a great opportunity to remember a general policy concept
and remember that we are doing an active watch.
As I have said, I am sure that with a %bcond we will get a solution for
your covering need as well as the long term stability of Common.
