The good news is that there has been significant motion in the development and acceptance of kbdus in the Linux kernel community. Further, Greg KH has acknowledged the importance of security and the LSM infrastructure and has backed down from his initial stance, which was that the LSMs were not sufficiently interesting to worry about. The bad news is that there's still a pile of work to be done before kdbus is ready to be considered.
