Here is the weekly status regarding package updates for the Tizen-Yocto
convergence:
About 90% of packages are now aligned between Tizen and Tizen-Yocto.

Note that Tizen Yocto image doesn't contain as many packages as Tizen
about 338 are missing. We suspect a lot of the missing packages aren't
really needed either because they are old packages not used anymore or
because equivalents exist in Yocto. The list of missing packages can be
