True, but it gets it in for 5.3 at least (and what other Directory
implementations are folks using that are missed?). If you're interested in
making it more flexible with the DiskSpaceAware thing, file a LUCENE JIRA and
pursue it from that angle and we can refactor the guts of the system info
handler once that change is made.
