Actually I think it's reasonable to graduate {{LatLonPoint}} to core? The code
is very minimal, it's the best performing 2D spatial option we have today (see
http://home.apache.org/~mikemccand/geobench.html), so it makes sense to present
it as our default simple spatial implementation.
