This bug is about a request to provide pre-built binaries. As things stand,
it's "won't fix".
If you'd like to file a separate bug about the build being too difficult - no
objection on my part, for sure :-) - and list proposals - and even better yet -
patches - about what could be done about that, please do so.
Also, feel free to use [email protected] for discussing any of
this, proposing ideas, even half baked, anything really. Something good is
likely to come out of it. This project has been waiting for someone with an
itch for making the build easier for a long long time.
