Are the issues here serious enough that we should roll this back for the 7.3
release in two weeks?
If so, the issues can be addressed and it can be included in 7.4+.
I don't have a strong opinion as I haven't reviewed the code. Based on several
comments though, I thought it a question worth asking since it'll be harder
once the code is in a release.
