+1. The date patterns in the default configSet were intented to cover the most
likely uses. I didn't do a survey or anything, it was just a guess. So IMHO
augmenting with well-known patterns is a good idea.
RFC-1036 is Usenet-style, and RFC-1123 is Email-style, right? What do you mean
by "ANSI-C"?
